    Then why is there such a difference in qaulity from the YouTube Setting of 1080p and the setting for 4k ? Also, if that isn't even true 4k. Then is there really a difference from true 1080p vs 4k on say a 55 inch screen ?

    It seems despite the card being old, it does support it. I didn't think it did. The Monitor does not however, yet You tube still gives me the option for 4k, including 8k. I also can play 4k content on You Tube, with slight audio issues. ...

    I don't believe my graphic card does. It's about 5 years old. When I change the quality to 4k on you tube, what am I seeing ? If not 4k ? Looks much nicer than the standard HD resolution.
