    Next, I'd probably use Revo Uninstaller to remove Driver Booster. It "might" remove the program and the drivers but I'm not sure on that.

    I already removed driver booster but i'll try that too to see if more things can be removed. I don't know why but sometimes the touchpad doesn't function even when i turn on my notebook for the first time on that day. I already downloaded its drivers from asus website but this still happens. Is there any program that can show if it's corrupted? Thanks everyone for your help :)

    Is the driver for your touchpad showing the same version that is posted on Asus' site for your model?

    Then there is something else causing the touchpad to malfunction. Since the keyboard is not working, and the onscreen keyboard is not working, it might be software. Unfortunately I wouldn't begin to know where to look.

    I've never had a notebook keyboard malfunction and I've owned 5 of them: Micron, HP, Asus and Acer. I also turn off the touchpad and put on a USB mouse with a small USB receiver. The receiver is small enough that I let it in even when traveling with the notebooks.

    I think I'm out of ideas unless I stumble across a thread on the internet with another suggestion.

    I cannot stand touchpads though I suppose it is my own fault. My undisciplined thumbs keep brushing them, sending the cursor across the screen. So I always use a mouse with my notebooks and disable the pads with the appropriate Fn + F-key combination.

    As to yours sometimes not working, it is hard to say why but often intermittent problems like this are due to a loose connection internally. You might see if the function comes and goes just by opening and almost completely closing the lid. If adventurous, you can remove the keyboard and make sure the connection is secure.
