    HDD Not Showing Up

    Hello.

    I formated my SSD to free up some space and this is what I did:

    I completely turned off my pc;
    Took out 2 HDD that were on;
    Put them on my table;
    Left only the SSD;
    Processed to format the SSD and install OS.

    After doing all the installation and everything, I turned my PC off again and put back my 2 HDDs. The problem is that now only 1 is showing up on my Windows.

    On Disk Management it shows as Disk 2 - Dynamic - Foreign

    On MiniTool Partition Wizard it shows as Disk 3 MBR (Bad Disk) and only gives me the option to convert from dynamic to basic.

    What's going on here? In my opinion it's literally impossible for the HDD to die like this, after 30 minutes because I was installing windows on my SSD.

    Thanks :)

    See this about "Foreign" disks. I think you should convert that dynamic to basic and see what happens.

    Re: HDD Not Showing Up

    Thanks a lot man, I wasn't sure if using the Import Foreign or the Convert would erase all my data, but it did the trick. I Imported and now it is showing normally on Windows.

    Cheers :)
