You need to tell us more about your computer and operating system. Have you rebooted? Did you change USB ports? Is your computer up to date? Did you make any recent changes?

HI THANKS 4 UR TIME i'm on window 8.1, on laptop, i use wireless mouse that doesn't work anymore nor any external drive. none of 3 usb ports works yes i rebooted, took off the batterie, used adwcleaner, re installed adobe flash player, used sfc/scannow command, used SFCFIX, made a back up from an older date when everything was fine ... and now it's driving me crazy with the window sound when u plug a new device or unplug it, every second or so :)

Sorry also that I don't have a solution to offer. If none of the USB ports and you restored to a date when all did work and that did not help, then it appears to be a hardware issue. And being a notebook, probably should have a tech look at.
