Uninstalled it and did a recovery to earlier date which worked. Now today when I signed in it did the same thing. Showed a code 43 error. Is the card going bye bye? Any and all solutions appreciated.

The reason I ask is because a new driver was rolled out for the 8500GT on February 10*. See NVIDIA DRIVERS GeForce 341.44 Driver WHQL. If 341.44 was automatically installed, you may need to roll back to the previous driver. *Located by searching for the GeForce 8 Series, selecting 8500GT as the product from here: Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

The real test is to see how it opens up tomorrow. So my question is ...... How do I rep myself? heheehhe:) Dennis

There was a flicker and everything locked up. So I will take cover off and check the seating of the card and fan but it looks like the old boy has seen its day. Glad I have a laptop to save my bacon as it has everything my desktop has but less junk on it. Will update later today. Guess I have to give the rep back...
