    Pale Moon's Spell Checker Woes

Any one experiencing problems with Pale Moon's spell checker? It works, but not very consistently. I frequently find myself staring at an obviously misspelled word, waiting for PM's spell checker to pick it up. But it never does - not until right click in some white space, uncheck "Check Spelling" then check it again. Then the misspelled word is immediately underlined. Being, perhaps, a bit anal about spelling and other writing errors, I find this irritating. I find it especially irritating if I don't notice the incorrect spelling myself, then submit my post.

Re: Pale Moon's Spell Checker Woes

I haven't been "expriencing isues" with "speel checkr" in Pale Moon. Intentionally typing the quoted words wrong immediately showed they were wrong. I also searched the Pale Moon forum and didn't find any recent results for issues and none of the old results were about performance.

Re: Pale Moon's Spell Checker Woes

I haven't been "expriencing isues" with "speel checkr" in Pale Moon.
And when I copied your text, it picked up on the errors right away too. Like I said, it is not a consistent problem or else I might be able to discern some pattern and then create a scenario that does show the problem consistently.

    Oh weel.

I'll have to pay closer attention. I seem to recall not having misspelled words flagged all the time. As you said, it isn't consistent. I too am anal about spelling.
