How to open a .docx document with problems with the contents?

Hi,

A friend send me an .docx file by email. I saved it on my computer and worked on it during hours, than saved again and close the document (everything was going fine). When I tryed to open it again, Word tells me "The Office Open XML file <file_name> cannot be opened because there are problems with the contents. Details : No error detail available". If you have idea on how open my document (and not lose all my work), I would apreciate a lot.
