    Unknown drivers? (Daemon Tools drivers)

I recently found five drivers in this thread that I suggested to the DRT. The curious thing was that I had to put unknown for the description as I couldn't find any info on any of the drivers. The driver names are:

    • aeunnb12.SYS
    • akh0mhkf.SYS
    • aodjqklm.SYS
    • aq6acuag.SYS
    • aw0tg06y.SYS

    Any ideas?

    Re: Unknown drivers?

Ah, that makes sense. The user also had sptd.sys so it probably was something Daemon Tools related.

    Re: Unknown drivers?

    I would have to agree...

    http://sysnative.com/drivers/driver.php?id=sp--.sys

I would wait for a second opinion though... I know nothing about any of this

    Re: Unknown drivers?

I would agree with Laxer. We see these Daemon Tools drivers regularly, often many times a day, and because they are not specificially in the table, they will appear in 95, and because they have randomly generated names, they tend not to appear in web searches. These look to be just some more Daemon Tool drivers, which do not need to be submitted to the table, but are still known to cause BSODs.

    Re: Unknown drivers?

Thanks again, I'll notify John to ignore the drivers I submitted.

I wouldn't worry too much. We have had them submitted before now, and he knows to ignore them

Thank you very, very much, however, for maintaining the DRT. It really helps future users :)
