Windows OS Drivers - Base Timestamps (Windbg related)

Windows OS Drivers - Base Timestamps

The following are timestamps for Windows drivers found in BSOD kernel dumps.

    XP SP2 = 4 August 2004
    XP SP3 = 13 April 2008

    Vista SP0 = 2 November 2006
    Vista SP1 = 19 January 2008
    Vista SP2 = 11 April 2009

    Windows 7 SP0 = 13 July 2009
    Windows 7 SP1 = 20 November 2010

    Windows 8 Developer Preview = 23 August 2011 (6.2.8102)
    Windows 8 RTM = 25 & 26 July 2012 (6.2.9200)

    Windows 8.1 Pro Preview = 15 June 2013 (6.3.9431)
    Windows 8.1 RTM = 22 August 2013 (6.3.9600)

Time zones play a role in Windbg driver timestamps.
Example: you may see 13 July or 14 July for Windows 7 SP0 depending on your specific time zone.
