However, when I executed the supposedly NEW system update pgm, it had the same screens as before. When I proceeded to get new updates, it found none which my system lacked.

I was hoping it would at least give us a new UI which might lead to the laptop's product support page but no such luck, it would seem. I had another look at the dump file and noticed I somehow misinterpreted the error code as a DV induced code earlier. It's actually a normal bugcheck code so we may need to try turning on DV but with more targeted settings if the problems continue. Please try using the system as you normally would and use the collector app to get a new zip if/when it crashes again.

It comes back so quickly to advise it has no updates. I wonder if it is due to thesystem age, where it might stop detail investigation. My Dell/Dell updating is more thorough.
