So any remnants that are on there were automatically installed.

That file is not present in my installation. Try from device manager: ATK0110 ACPI UTILITY (not sure where it is located, if it is present...), update driver.

I couldn't update the driver so I uninstalled it. It didn't help. Then I tried booting into safe mode. Still get bluescreens at startup. I find it odd that this morning I was able to use my pc for a bit before it would crash. But now after running occt I get BSODs right when I boot.

I'll add them to this message. The names of the files indicate when the crash happened. Hopefully they'll help. Click to expand... So the errors you're getting are "unknown", however looking at the 2nd MSR error reporting bank and the Intel developer's guide I can see it to be an Internal Parity MCA error. The single bit on the model specific registers show a BQ_DCU_WB_TYPE error. This is a data cache write back error. This is an internal CPU error when reading data from the cache before it writes back to memory. Given that you've already swapped CPUs to the i3 and it works, I'd say this is enough to conclude the CPU is at fault.
