Okay, good to know. If you're always using the laptop with a charger plugged in, running everything on the NVidia processor is not an issue, but if you're usually running it off the battery, you might find it doesn't last as long per charge. I can't really speak authoritatively on what the impact will be, but my guess would be that it's probably quite marginal. You appear to already be on the most up-to-date drivers for your integrated graphics as well, so your only option would be to roll back to an older version. Given the circumstances of the issue, it seems unlikely that would correct the problem. I don't have another solution off the top of my head, but I'll post an update for you if I think of anything (and I implore others to post too if they have any ideas).
