I am at work and cannot check your files ATM. But, in the meantime I suggest running a diagnostic on your RAM and HDD.

Start with the RAM test. Go to http://www.memtest.org/, download memtest86+ .iso file. Burn the .iso to CD using Windows Image Burner (Win7) or a program like IMGBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/).

Once created, boot your computer to the Memtest bootable CD. The test should start immediately. Let it run for a minimum of 2 hours. Memory address errors show up in red on the lower half of the screen. The test will continue to run until it is cancelled.
    zigzag3143 says thanks for this.

In addition to what GavinZach has suggested you might want to run Malwarebytes (just to be sure), remove sptd.sys and update the following drivers.

These do appear to be hardware related but these should also be addressed.

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.

    Update it immediately.
    Do a full system scan
Let us know the results at the end.

    http://www.malwarebytes.org/products

    SPTD.SYS
is often the cause of BSODS.

Please remove any CD visualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%.

They use a driver, found in your dmp, called sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs.

Use this SPTD uninstaller DuplexSecure - Downloads http://duplexsecure.com/faq

when you're done you can use this Freeware:

MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM (MagicDisc) in its place

    Re: BSOD STOP 0x00000024

x024 relates to a NTFS file system error.

If the ram passes run the hard drive diagnostics > http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html

    Code:

If you see NtfsExceptionFilter on the stack then the 2nd and 3rd
parameters are the exception record and context record. Do a .cxr
on the 3rd parameter and then kb to obtain a more informative stack
        trace.

    Re: BSOD STOP 0x00000024

Please ensure that you have all Windows Updates. You have 65 after SP1 - and most systems have 75 or more.

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please uninstall the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): http://www.duplexsecure.com/faq#remove_32sptd

Some free alternatives (I don't use them, so I can't comment on them)
    http://www.kernsafe.com/product/totalmounter.aspx
    http://www.magiciso.com/

You should update your keyboard driver (qkbfiltr.sys - Quanta HotKey Keyboard Filter Driver)as it dates from 2007.

6 memory dumps over a 2 day period
    6 different BSOD error codes
    4 different causes.

This is most likely a hardware error. They (hardware errors) are usually caused by one of these things:
    - borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
    - overclocking - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
    - compatibility issues
    - low-level driver problems
    - or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from http://www.carrona.org/initdiag.html or http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html ).

If the above steps don't stop the BSOD's, please run the free diagnostics here: http://www.carrona.org/hwdiag.html

Since you're inundated with recommendations from others, I won't give my own diagnosis simply because right now nothing looks definitive. To clarify more on what we're dealing with, we'll either need a kernel dump (MEMORY.DMP in Windows directory) to analyze further, or we'll need you to turn on Driver Verifier. Select all checks except Low Resource Sim, Force Pending I/O Requests, and IRP Logging. Provide us any minidumps you may experience after it's turned on (remember to restart after you set it all up). Go into Safe Mode and disable DV if it's causing you to experience a boot loop.

While the NTFS stack is blamed often and sounds like it's disk related, the actual errors appear to be your typical memory-related stuff (such as c0000005). Driver Verifier should help at least ascertain if we're dealing with a buggy filter driver or not. Just so you know, the best info we can get is if you turn on DV, it causes system to crash, and then you send us that kernel dump. Minidumps are just super puny and afford us little in debugging. Only if what DV catches is definitely the buggy driver will a minidump help us, otherwise we'll need the big fella.

Understand that you should still go with what others have mentioned as well. It's very important to keep drivers and all up to date and to clean off unnecessary junk. Who knows, you may end up resolving the issue from doing so.

EDIT: oh, btw, did you know that running 32-bit Windows 7 will limit your use of RAM. It may show up that you can use all 4GB, but in actuality this is a white lie. It's highly recommended that you beef it up to 64-bit Windows (of course this means reinstalling it, though) as you'll have to do it in the long run.

Im not able toh run memory test, my laptop automatically gets shutdown. I think my ram is creating problems. I ran chkdsk and results were normal. Im getting BSOD mostly while updating wondows. I think my ram is not able to take the load. Is that so?

    Re: BSOD STOP 0x00000024

If you can get into Windows - run Prime95
If you can't get into Windows - test each stick individually. Then take a good stick (one without errors) and test it in each slot.

Chkdsk tests the file system on the hard drive - NOT the hard drive itself. It's possible (and it happens a lot at work) that a hard drive will pass CHKDSK and will fail the hard drive diagnostic.

Finally, a failing hard drive can cause problems like this (not being able to run tests) also. The way to figure it out is to remove the hard drive and see if you can run the memory test then.

If your system is dying when running Memtest86+, then you got serious hardware issues. I don't believe we're dealing with failing RAM if it's causing the system to spontaneously shut down during Memtest86+, though someone else here can correct me on that. Also drive cannot be cause since no drive is active during Memtest86+. Most likely I blame any of the parts from the Trio of Trouble: CPU, Motherboard, of PSU. Most likely PSU. Make sure your system isn't overheating and perhaps clean it by using compressed air through the heat vents (you may even need to open up the laptop and clean it from there). Otherwise, given this is a laptop, there's nothing really else you can do aside from grabbing warranty (if it still is live) and replacing it or servicing it.

I'd agree with that, failing RAM wouldn't cause a spontaneous shutdown running Memtest outside of exceptionally rare circumstances - which would probably cause it to fail to load in the first place.

    Re: BSOD STOP 0x00000024

Just FYI - I sometimes see problems like this with dying hard drives. Dunno how or why - but the definitive test is to run a bootable diagnostic after pulling the hard drive(s) out of the system (obviously a bootable hard drive diagnostic won't work). The system still has to detect it when booting up and initializing the system prior to loading an OS.

Memtest is easiest to run as it loads quickly and it'll give results quickly in most situations.

Also, if Memtest won't run, why not? If it's not the hard drive, then the next most common problem is the RAM - and that's where these diagnostics load up into.

We also use bootable PCCheck from Eurosoft - but it takes too long to run if you're just looking to rule out boot problems.

IMO it's most likely the hard drive, followed by the CPU/mobo/PSU

    Re: BSOD STOP 0x00000024

If I am correct... This is a portable PC (laptop/notebook) which means the PSU circuitry is part of the motherboard. (the power brick/charger is just an AC-DC converter)

I cannot rule out overheating ... I would thoroughly clean the vents... A lot can build up in 3 years.
