So, because windows thinks sp1 is not installed, it's not offering the security updates? (My other builds have loads of updates).
This is a minor digression from the BSOD issue that I'm was hoping to identify the culprit cause of,
before backing up, and using the sturdy, clean build as a base to redeploy bespoke builds, one for a DAW, one for DEV, one as my main workhorse, maybe one setup ready for redeployment on my SSD drive with TRIM et al set...
Going to sleep, to see if BSOD is still an issue, after installing sp1 using auto updates... don't want to, but seems necessary
