The attached DMP file is of the SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3b)bug check. This indicates that an exception happened while executing a routine that transitions from non-privileged code to privileged code. This error has been linked to excessive paged pool usage and may occur due to user-mode graphics drivers crossing over and passing bad data to the kernel code. BugCheck 3B, {c0000005, fffff96000194603, fffff88002fc4030, 0} Code: 6: kd> ln fffff96000194603 (fffff960`00194560) win32k!HmgLockEx+0xa3 | (fffff960`001946ac) win32k!RGNOBJ::vSet The exception occurred in win32k!HmgLockEx+0xa3. 1. Uninstall Corsair Link ASAP! Very buggy software and the drivers for it are too old. 2. Ensure you have the latest video card drivers. If you are already on the latest video card drivers, uninstall and install a version or a few versions behind the latest to ensure it's not a latest driver only issue. If you have already experimented with the latest video card driver and many previous versions, please give the beta driver for your card a try. Regards, Patrick

So you believe the corsair link software has been causing the issue? I mean like like is that the only thing that is wrong and may be causing the BSOD? I will try updating to the Beta driver for my GPU and test it for a day or 2 and see how it goes then get back to you. Thanks a ton! appreciate the help.

I've seen that software cause many issues in the past. It's buggy and not to mention unnecessary to the functionality of your system, especially your fans. There's other software for that. Keep me updated. Regards, Patrick

You should have no issues uninstalling your video card drivers whatsoever from safe mode because they aren't even loaded. When you boot into safe mode, you're using the basic VGA drivers, not your video card's display drivers. Regards, Patrick
