For example, Corsair doesn't manufacture PSUs so they have different suppliers at different price points. Those suppliers change as contracts expire. Here's a very old list: Who is the manufacturer of your PSU? Maybe there's a current one somewhere.

Years ago we were finding PSU's that ran great on Euro 220v 50hz, didn't fair so well on North American 120v 60hz and vice versa.
