Lenovo S410 can't wake up after sleeping... only happened after updating to 8.1!

Wow sweet. I'll get to work over the weekend and let you know the results! Btw I've no idea why secure boot is turned off. I might have enabled "no GUI boot" not sure if that affects it.

Thanks Stephen! That's a fantastically swift reply. I'm actually thinking of making do with my good 12GB of ram because it seems more than enough for me now. The RMA process is actually pretty long-winded due to where I live, and not worth the time imo. Think we could expedite the process and...

Merry Christmas Stephen! Good news: I've finally finished the set of RAM tests and found a faulty module, which managed to accrue 1132 errors in about 10 seconds of running. The other 3 made 10 consecutive passes. So I ran memtest again with just the 3 good memory modules and they showed 5...

Wow a solid execution of the memtest takes ages. Hmm. I left my 4*4GB RAM running over 5 hours and it showed a horrendous 82,000 erros (and counting), with only 2 passes, before I reached home. Will be doing the slot by slot, mem module by mem module thing when I can find the time to!
