BSOD after multiple operations to "clean" a PC

Hi everyone.

So, to explain, a friend asked me to clean her PC because it's was apparently slow.

So I install Driver Booster 2, CCleaner, MalwareBytes and Defraggler and start them. First CCleaner with a cleaning and registry repairing (seems that was a bad idea after I did some research....), and then DB2, Defraggler and MB at the same time. I launched them together and let the PC work for a while, and leave the house of my friend before it ends.
Later the same day, my friend send me a picture of a BSOD, saying that it happened a few hours later, without having touched the PC.
Here it is :

Apparently, there wasn't any report at the reboot of the computer...

[EDIT] I just hear that it is not the first time that the PC get this BSOD... The first was at the beginning of summer, and it happened 3-4 times. My "cleaning things" is probably not the cause.

I follow the BSOD posting instructions and I'm now here with this :

· OS - Windows 8.1, 8, 7, Vista ? Windows 7
· x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? x64
· What was original installed OS on system? Windows 7
· Is the OS an OEM version (came pre-installed on system) or full retail version (YOU purchased it from retailer)? OEMView attachment perfmon_output.zip
· Age of system (hardware)? Seems to be about 28/04/2011 (BIOS installation date)
· Age of OS installation - have you re-installed the OS? I never re-install it, so I would say 12/09/2011 too. (According to DriversCloud.com)

· CPU? Intel Core i5 480M 2.67 GHz
· Video Card? ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650

· System Manufacturer? Acer
· Exact model number? Acer Aspire 7741G-484G75Mn

· Laptop or Desktop? Laptop

The SysnativeBSODCollectionApp didn't worked because of the "Waiting SystemInfo..." problem. I tried to follow this thread : BSOD Posting Inst #3 Stuck at "Waiting for SystemInfo" - Tech Support Forum but I didn't found any dump or .dmp file.

There probably isn't any dump files because the file cleaning tools you have been using, are you able to boot into the computer?

Hi BlueRobot.

I'm speaking here with my friend's PC, so it works and I can do any operaitons needed.

I have launched Verifier. So I have to wait 24 hours

? We'll see tomorrow :noidea:

For the dump files, I did the cleaning before the BSOD. And, according to my friend, the others BSOD didn't open anything about a report after a reboot after a BSOD.

If you get the "Waiting for SystemInfo" again, kill the app with Task Manager. It is usually caused by excessive WERCON entries in msinfo32.

Then go to Documents and zip up the entire SysnativeFileCollectionApp folder & attach to your next post.

Wait until after your system BSODs under Driver Verifier before running it.

Hey, little update, still nothing with Verifier.exe

However, verifier /query doesn't do anything now. Before, there was a lot of text, but now nothing.

[EDIT] The computer reboot during the night (thanks to Windows Update...), is it a problem ? Verifier.exe seems he didn't go to the beginning and he still works.

What do I have to wait ? A specific BSOD from Verifier if I have understood well. And if not ?

Just wait to see if the system crashes again, if it does, then please upload the dump file(s).

Hey guys, I bring some news.

After 4-5 days running verifier.exe, nothing happened, and the PC was getting slower and slower, so I decided to stop Verifier.

I continue to use it 1-2 days, without nothing. I finally bring back the PC to my friend, and we have watched some pictures, without running anything else than the Windows Live Picture software.

And boom ! BSOD.... Not exactly the same, btw. This one is related to "volsnap.sys", not "classpnp.sys". And again, no report after a reboot.

While waiting for some help, I gonna do some research :noidea:

If the BSOD had happened before and the latest one is related to "volsnap" then I would suggest to use HDD tool like HDTune to check the SMART information.
